We strive to provide a safe, educational, and enjoyable animal experience at Darling Donkey. However, due to the nature of a working farm, there are inherent risks associated with visiting our hands-on family farm, including but not limited to contact with livestock, uneven terrain, farm equipment, and other natural or man-made hazards.
By entering the Darling Donkey property, you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks and voluntarily assume full responsibility for any injury, illness, damage, or loss that may occur, including serious injury or death.
The client is solely responsible for themselves and all members of their party, including children, guests, and any individuals they bring onto the property. Darling Donkey shall not be held liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages sustained by the client or their party while on the farm.
While we take reasonable precautions and make every effort to maintain a safe environment, all visits are at your own risk.

Deposits & Tickets (a.k.a. No Sad Money Here 💸😉)
All deposits and tickets are non-refundable — but don’t panic! We know life loves to throw curveballs (and sometimes mud balls).
If you need to cancel, the money you’ve already paid will be credited to your Darling Donkey account notified within 24hrs of appointment, and can be used anytime during the same calendar year.
That credit is good for ANY Darling Donkey fun — farm visits, events, experiences, donkey shenanigans… you name it. As long as you rebook within the same year, your money stays happy and safe with us.
So no stress, no rushing, and no lost dollars — just reschedule and come see us when the timing is right 🐴💛

Friendly Farm Fashion Reminder 🐴🌾
This is a real, working farm — not a petting zoo in a mall 😉 That means you’ll find dirt, poop (yep, real poop), weeds, rocks, uneven ground, hills, and the occasional puddle or two.
Pants are highly encouraged, and closed-toed shoes are an absolute MUST (flip-flops and fancy shoes will regret their life choices). There’s quite a bit of walking involved, so dress for comfort, not the runway.
We also recommend hats, sunscreen, and taking any allergy medication at least one hour before arrival so you can focus on having fun instead of sneezing your way through the farm.
Come dressed for the farm, and you’ll have a much better time!
Sadly, we are a small business and retain the right to cancel events in the event that not enough people sign up for the class, event, or camp. We also retain the right to cancel events if the weather is bad and we are unable to give customers a proper experience. Or, if our animals are sick or injured, or any other reason, we may need cancel. If we have to cancel, we will give the option to our clients to reschedule your event to a different day/time within the same season. Cancelling is our last priority, but there may be times it has to be done. Thank you for your understanding.

We encourage you to book for events early, or as soon as you are able. This helps us better plan and organize, giving you the best experience with us. We take pride in working on EVERY little detail, and the more we can be prepared and make sure every detail is met for each person, the more fun you will have. So please book early.
